Why we press this way
Slow pressing is the only step we refuse to shorten.
Heat makes oil cheaper to produce and quicker to bottle. It also strips the aroma, the colour and the character of the seed. We press cold, filter, and fill — and then stop.

Questions
Before you order
What does cold-pressed actually mean?
The seeds and nuts are pressed at low temperature, without heat or chemical solvents. The oil stays unrefined and keeps its natural aroma, colour and flavour.
Which sizes are available?
Coconut and sesame oil are bottled in 500 ml and 1 L. Groundnut oil is bottled in 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L. Each size is priced and stocked on its own product page.
How should I store the oil?
Keep the bottle closed, away from direct sunlight and away from the heat of the stove. Unrefined oil keeps best somewhere cool and dark.
Why has my coconut oil gone solid?
Cold-pressed coconut oil solidifies below about 24°C. It is not a fault — warm the bottle gently and it returns to liquid with no loss of quality.
How is BrightLeaf tested?
We press and pack under an FSSAI licence, check every batch before filling, and confirm quality parameters through laboratory testing.
